Purr-fect Pals, Inc. was established by our President, Yvonne D’Amore, out of her desire to provide love and comfort animals in need. Mrs. D’Amore has decided to aid the community by providing a place for animals to receive the shelter, food, attention and care that they require. Purr-fect Pals, Inc. is operated and based out of Visalia, California. Our area, Tulare County, has the highest rates of animal abuse, abandonment and euthanization in the state. Because of these increased rates of neglect and mistreatment, she has decided to formulate a program that will be used to educate young school-aged children on the proper treatment and care of house pets. Our mission is to provide all treatment necessary for the pets before we adopt them out to loving families (that will be investigated upon adoption request), by taking care of the costs of spaying/neutering, annual shots, and any necessary medical treatment that the veterinarian deems appropriate. We also will be taking in disabled and unwanted animals, and will provide the special treatment that they require, such as additional medical treatment and isolated recovery areas.
